THE CREATOR & THE CREATED
Inspired by my study abroad trip to Florence, “The Creator and the Created” explores why we cannot separate God from art. Constantly being surrounded by great works in Florence, pushed me to ponder the deeper relationship between the artist, the primary source, and ultimately God. With a deep understanding of the Bible, I found myself constantly seeing the layered meanings within the different works of art. It pushed me to wonder — can we separate the artist from the Creator?
Inspired by famous Renaissance and Baroque works, as well as my own relationship with God, “The Creator and the Created” takes a look at the deeper relationship between God and His creation.
